Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman may or may not return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While it’s incredibly possible that moviegoers haven’t yet seen the character’s end given his role in it eternity, Harrington himself says he has been kept in the dark regarding his future in the franchise. still Game of thrones The graduate took to a recent interview to say he hopes to return to the MCU sooner rather than later.
“Me, again…and it’s true: I don’t know much of what they’re up to,” Harrington said in one of Josh Horowitz’s latest issue. happy sad confused Podcast (via direct). “And you know, I hope I get involved in future things, with this character, with Dane Whitman, and that he might go on and be the thing that everyone on the street quotes about. But I honestly don’t know. I don’t know what their plans are. I know they’re entering kind of phase five.” ..”
In the film, Whitman appears only as a professor and not as a professor other than the Black Knight. In a post-credits scene, Whitman finally reveals Ebony Blade before the voiceover from Mahershala Ali warns him not to do anything to him.
He added, “I don’t know. I know Mahershala’s voices obviously came at the end of the Eternals, but you don’t know where it’s going to take her.” “Really, and I mean this honestly and people will never believe you when you say this, but they don’t really tell us much. And I think for good reason, because we’re going to be in an interview like this and we’re going to go and pour the beans.”
Last year, Eternals producer Nate Moore told ComicBook.com that Ebony Blade effectively acts as a link between the two characters.
“[Blade] I was [part of the scene] For reasons that hopefully will become clear when you see more stuff, but [Mahershal Ali] “He wasn’t around that day,” Moore explained, and we talked about two versions of that, one where we’re cutting with him and one where we’re not going to cut it. “How much text do you want it to be?” And again, it was just for fun, to tease him a little, to hear the voice and not see the man. It was a game to do this. As an Ebony Blade, the characteristics of an Ebony Blade are somewhat different from a vampire and we think this is an interesting genre to play with. So, we knew this was on the table.”
